Common Questions
-
Our corporate worship gathering begins at 10:45am.
Prior to the worship gathering, we invite you to spend time in the Grounded Coffee Shop where you can help yourself to coffee, water, and donuts. This fellowship time begins at 10:15am.
At each entrance of the church building, you will see volunteers ready to greet you and willing to help you find what you’re looking for.
-
You are welcome to park in any available parking space. However, to make parking easier, we've reserved a section for guests and those needing handicap accommodations. Once you turn onto Maydell Avenue, look for the guest parking and handicap parking signs on the left.
-
Once you arrive, look for a volunteer wearing a “How Can I Help You?” lanyard. Our volunteers can get you to the Sanctuary Kids area, which is located behind the sanctuary.
We have childcare available during our gathering for infants to 3 years old. Children are provided a clean and safe place to crawl around and play. In addition, there is a private mother’s room next to the nursery.
For kids 4 to 10 years old, they will join you for the music part of the corporate worship gathering. Shortly after, they will be guided by the volunteer teachers to Children’s Church, where they will study a Bible lesson and enjoy creative activities/games. Your children are welcome to join in these activities or remain with you in the worship.
They will be waiting for you to pick them up after the gathering!
-
Yes! We require all children to be checked in. Once you arrive at the check-in station, a childcare volunteer will ask for your contact info and anything our team needs to know for the well-being of your child. Your child will be given a name label and you'll be given a security label. After the worship gathering, you must present the security label to check your child out.
In addition to these protocols, we require all childcare volunteers to clear a federal and state background check. Not only are we committed to teaching kids about Jesus, but we want to ensure their safety and security, as well.
-
Our corporate worship gatherings usually last about 75 minutes. In the first half of the gathering, we’ll spend time singing, praying, and reading God’s Word. In the second half, our pastor will preach an expositional message from the Bible. At times, our church will also observe the Lord’s Supper together. Baptized believers in good standing with their church are welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper whether or not they are members of our church.
-
We don't have a dress code. You are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. You will probably be among people wearing anything from business casual to flip-flops.
